The founder of Mile High Musical Tails is a dog trainer, and she started teaching her own dogs to dance back in 1999. It was so much fun she decided to spread the word about this wonderful sport and the rest is history.

Support Our Nonprofit Organization

We don't make money — we're a nonprofit organization. Some funding comes from competitions, but most of the time it comes from workshop fees and memberships. You don't need to dance with your dog to join us and offer your support. Visit our mission page for details.

We Teach Dog Dancing

Our next freestyle course will start April 20, 2019 This is an eight week course that is taught Saturday 1-2 pm at Blue Springs N' Katydid Dog Training Center. The address is 2980 West Oxford Ave, Sheridan, Colorado. The phone number is 303-781-9027. The cost is $195.00 Once you finish the course, you are welcome to attend our drop in classes. The drop in classes are on Saturday 9-10 am and Thursdays 1-2 pm This course will provide a great bonding experience for you and your dog.

We Host Fun Competitions

We host dog dancing competitions where our members and their dogs demonstrate their skills. Check out our competitions page for updates on scheduled events, competition results, and pictures of the happy participants. Every other year we invite a talented individual to put on a workshop for our members, where lots of learning and fun take place.

Our Community Service

As part of our mandate to provide community service, we host demonstrations of dog dancing in the greater Denver Metro area of Colorado. Contact us if we can do that for you.
